Short-stay turnovers

Same-day changeovers timed to the arrival, not the roster. Hotel-grade linen presentation, consumables restocked, damage and low-stock flagged before you hear it from a guest.

Residential cleaning

Weekly, fortnightly or seasonal care for homes and holiday houses. A fixed scope, the same cleaners each visit, and a key-holding service for owners who are away.

Commercial cleaning

Window cleaning

03 — How it runs
01

Book

We walk the property, agree a written scope and a fixed price, and set the schedule against your calendar or your arrivals feed.

Clean

The same team attends each visit and works the scope in order. Anything outside it is raised with you rather than quietly skipped or quietly billed.

Report

You receive a photographic sign-off, a note of anything needing attention, and a running record of every visit for the property file.

Hey, we're Tama and Lachlan — two 17-year-olds from Queenstown who take real pride in keeping our town spotless.

Why we started

We started our cleaning service because we wanted to build something real — a small local business people can actually count on. For us, it's not just about cleaning; it's about showing that young people in Queenstown can deliver professional, reliable results.

Growing up here, we know what locals care about — trust, punctuality, and getting the job done right the first time. Whether it's a family home, an Airbnb, or a rental, we show up on time, do the work properly, and leave your space looking fresh and spotless.

If you look after Airbnbs, rentals or a body corporate and you introduce us to another owner, we'll take 10% off every turnover we do for you for three months — not a one-off credit.

Introduce us to three or more and we'll hold a standing slot in our week for your properties, so peak-season changeovers are never a scramble.

The fine print, in plain words

Do I need to be a customer already?

No. If you've never booked us, we'll hold your $25 as credit for whenever you do.

When does the credit land?

After their first clean is completed and paid. It never expires.

Can I refer a whole street?

Please do. There's no limit on referrals; the free-clean bonus is capped at $120 of work.

Which areas count?

Anywhere in the Wakatipu Basin — Queenstown, Frankton, Arrowtown, Jack's Point and around.

Rates & terms

Policies.

How we charge, and what you can expect on an invoice. One rate, one minimum, no surprises. If something here doesn't cover your job, ask us and we'll put it in writing.

Our rate
$60 / hour
Per cleaner, excluding GST. All cleaning and property services.
Minimum charge
1.5 hours
Per cleaner, every booking. Beyond that, charged in 15-minute increments.

Pricing

Kahui Queenstown charges $60.00 per hour, per cleaner, excluding GST, for all cleaning and property services.

Minimum charge

A minimum of 1.5 hours per cleaner applies to every booking. Where a job is completed in less than 1.5 hours, the booking is charged at the 1.5-hour minimum. This covers travel to and from site, equipment setup and pack-down, and materials. Time beyond 1.5 hours is charged in 15-minute increments at the hourly rate.

Who this applies to

These rates apply to all new customers whose first booking is made on or after 11 September 2026. Customers with an existing service agreement in place before this date continue on their current agreed rates until otherwise notified in writing, with no less than 30 days' notice of any change.

GST

All rates are quoted exclusive of GST. GST at 15% is added to every invoice.

Quoted work

Some services — including window cleaning, one-off deep cleans and larger commercial sites — may be quoted as a fixed price for the job. Where a written fixed-price quote has been accepted, that price applies in place of the hourly rate and minimum charge.

Invoicing

Invoices are issued weekly on Friday and are payable within 7 days.

07

Cancellations

Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at the 1.5-hour minimum.
